Christmas Day Dec 25

The residents started the day by opening all their lovely presents that they had received. Later in the morning they all came together for a sherry reception in the library. Afterwards we all enjoyed a delicious Christmas Day lunch.

Pantomime Cinderella

Some of the staff at Bushell House performed their own version of the classic Pantomime Cinderella for the residents. There was plenty of participation from the audience and lots of laughter. We all had a brilliant time. The residents then enjoyed a buffet tea prepared by our chef. Well done to everyone involved.

Poetry Reading Afternoon 16 Oct

Poetry Reading Afternoon. We took it in turns this afternoon to read our favourite poems to each other, including those by Walter de la Mare, Rudyard Kipling Roald Dahl and Hilaire Belloc. Some made us reminisce and others made us laugh; we enjoyed all of them.
