Care Provision

care provision

Our aim is to provide high quality care provision in a caring, warm, safe and homely environment. Our ethos is simple: to see all people as individuals, and treat each and every person with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

We have established individual Care Plans for all residents, an essential protocol which is used by staff to ensure that the correct levels of care and support are provided.

We have a GP who visits regularly, with support from district nurses when necessary. There is access to other health professional services such as chiropody, dentists and opticians.

All members of our team are highly trained, providing an exceptionally high standard of care 24 hours a day and a high level of commitment to professional development which is fully supported and acknowledged by the board of Trustees. We are subject to regular inspections by quality assurance organisations to ensure compliance and the highest standards. All the reports are freely available.

An outstanding employer

Each month we feature one of our “partners” who might be a client,
supplier or associated organisation. This month we draw attention to Bushell House; only
one of many excellent care homes that we support.

We recently completed an Employee Survey for this Residential Home
situated in Goosnargh, near Preston . This has
been long established as a home for retired people (it was founded in 1743) and
it had been Malcolm’s client even before our corporate beginnings in 2003. The
report revealed excellent views from the staff. Of the 10 main sections, staff
scored Bushell House in excess of 90% positive in four and in excess of 80%
positive in five further sections. Outstanding results! We are proud to have
them as a client because we know that if employees feel well treated then
employees in turn will treat residents well. It underlines our own commitment
to helping to create high standards of care in the sector.
