The children from Ollie’s Nursery Goosnargh came in to dance for us this morning, they were excellent.

Alice in Wonderland 12 July

The residents had a lovely afternoon watching the children perform their end of term play Alice in Wonderland. We would like to thank the children from Goosnargh Oliverson’s Primary School for inviting us.

Broughton Pre-School 14 June

Broughton Pre-School Children came to visit us today

A small group of children from Broughton Pre-School came to visit us this morning to sing and dance for us. They gave the residents lovely cards, bracelets and necklaces that they had made.

A big thank you from all the residents.

 

 

 

 

Bushell House Founders Day 4 June

Bushell House Founders Day Sunday 4 June

There was a service in The Church of St Mary The Virgin, Goosnargh, followed by a sherry reception and buffet lunch at Bushell House.  The day went very well and a big thank you to those who came and joined us.

 

Goosnargh and Whittingham Festival 3 June

It was a beautiful warm sunny day for the Goosnargh and Whittingham Festival, the residents sat outside to watch the maypole dancers, the floats as they passed by led by Paul Rigby’s BWD big band, the crowning of the Festival Queen Niamh Quigg who looked lovely and of course listening to the Scottish Pipers play.  We all had a lovely afternoon.

The flower display in the entrance hall looks beautiful. Well done to all the residents, we received a highly recommended from the judges

Rachel Mercer 31 May

Rachel Mercer came in to sing for us this morning.  She performed songs  from light classics, musicals, and we also had sing a long.  She sang beautifully and we all had a really good time.  Thank you for coming to visit us.
